A dramatic monologue

The whole class was in shock when our teacher
announced that we would be having our
Soliloquy Wednesday, next week...
Wow! How exciting.... Can't wait to memorize another
17 or more lines of Shakespeare.. :)
The 2 choices for our soliloquy pieces were Lady Macbeth's or Macbeth's..
Some were torn between the two but I what
I'm really hoping is that
I could memorize an entire monologue in a week...

Real US

The person you see
in the mirror
early in the morning

Walking alone

I had another "walking without any company experience". I know some are used to going home without anyone with them and I praise them for that but for me, it's like walking on an endless road.

Today, I had again been left by my best friends with the thought of going home, on my own and it made me feel down because I have to walk a long way in order for me to ride a jeepney and without any one to accompany me...

But thanks to my Friends' encouragement I was able to go home!.. And once again, I proved to myself that I can do it... hahahaha :)

Unexpected SUBJECT

Have you ever encountered a subject that you thought would put your life up-side-down? If yes, then we have one thing in common! It feels like your time is fixed in that subject, trying and thinking hard in order to understand a certain "term" regarding that matter but for others it seemed so easy as pie........

At first, I can't understand why is the subject Math even invented? Was it invented to punish people? Most especially learners? I just don't get it!

During my elementary years I was having a hard time memorizing math terms and most especially formulas and the worst thing is I was slow as a turtle when it comes to copying notes! Could this get anymore worse? But the great thing was it did not...

But then it started to change when I was in 6th grade where I was more attentive and participative in class discussion. I became engross when it comes to studying and the best part was my grades got a lot more better compared to the previous...

But the unexpected change was really unexpected. It was when I was in 2nd year of high school when I realized that Math wasn't so hard after all. It just needs some time in order for us, most especially me, to understand it. Time alone had help me become aware that Math is actually a part of our life and the more we shun it the more it will be tougher to understand but if we embrace it whole-heatedly, step by step we can be a mathematician in our own little way...

I just realized that this past years I was the one who made Math so hard not Math itself because of the thought that many doesn't like Math, maybe I won't like it too, like go with the flow..
But now, I LOVE Math... And now, I can say that Math is easy as pie. (laughs) Just kidding. I still have a lot to learn!

Lesson:
BE OPEN in learning new things! Never let anyone affect your decision when it comes with learning! Maybe you will like it and soon will LOVE it...

Existence

We met different kinds of people
from all walks of life........

True contentment

It's amazing to realize that living in simplicity gives true contentment. We go as we come to this world. In the end, nothing is ours to keep.
So, let's share what we have. Smiles, knowledge, hugs, good words, time and love.
Love more. Hate less. Ignore critics. Most especially LOVE life!
The true meaning of contentment is the way we live our life according to God's will and that is: a life of simplicity. We were created by God to experience what he calls life and it's wonders but we cannot fully enjoy life if we are held back by our material things, in order for us to appreciate God's blessings we must let go of those things and be simple.

Happiness

Happiness is a very subjective factor in one's life........
Being happy doesn't depend on achieving what you want
but rather making the best out of what was given.
Life isn't fair, it never was.
The only thing that can make you completely happy
is contentment
be contented with what you have,
but be sure to
Aim high and never stop believing
that you can do better than the last time.
Then again, if all fails,
don't forget that an ordinary you
has an extraordinary GOD to back you up!

Life

LESSON?

Never ever limit yourself when it comes to happiness, learn how to let go and take risks.
Life is too beautiful outside our comfort zone :)
BUT never push yourself to the limit, humans have limitations! Remember that even metals get tired. So, rest if you must........... but never surrender!

- Time alone can prove the worth of a TRUE person, as time goes by, we lose the WRONG ones and keep the BEST because TRUE people stay when the rest are gone..

Oh, how I wish you were yourself! But, my love, your identity will only last as long as you’re alive. You should make preparations in anticipation of your inevitable death and pass on your beautiful appearance to someone else. That way, your beauty, which you’ve only borrowed, wouldn’t have to end. Then, even after you died, your beautiful body would be renewed in your children. Who would let such a beautiful house fall into disrepair when prudent maintenance might make it outlast the stormy gusts of winter and the frustrating barrenness surrounding death? Only the most irresponsible spender could do such a thing, you know, my dear love. You had a father—let your son be able to say the same.
